Amitabh Bachchan's still maintains Kolkatta to be his favourite city. After a long 20 years he recently visited ‘Netaji Subhash Indoor Stadium' in his famous song ‘Sara Zamana' was shot made him nostalgic. He penned down the whole incident in his blog. Here he goes:

Elaborating on his unforgettable experience, Amitabh says, "I have to travel again to Kolkata to attend a function for the school run by Basant Kumar Birla's daughter at the prestigious ‘Netaji Subhash Indoor Stadium'.

The very same, where on my insistence, my producer and dear friend Habib Nadiadwala shot those exciting song sequences in the film Yaarana. What a moment it was and what a trip to our favorite city, Kolkata."

He further adds, "There were around 25, 000 people inside and more than another 50, 000 outside the stadium since they were unable to get seats, it being a free entry. I shall never forget the moment that still remains as an unforgettable experience in my system."
